5-MINUTE DECOMPRESSION EXERCISE
How do you decompress when you're overwhelmed? Here's a 5-Step exercise to reset your thinking, which will also serve to de-stress you.
1. Take 5 deep breaths. Breathe in, count to five, breath out. Repeat.
2. Think of a place you'd rather be, a place that calms you. Don't think of going to the place as an escape, but as an inspiration. It's not a cave; it's a parachute.
3. Take 5 more deep breaths. Breathe in, count to five, breath out. Repeat.
4. Dream, meditate, cleanse your brain. What are you doing in that place? What's the thing you most like to do? Think about it. Visualize.
